A native of Silsbee, Texas, Jefferson graduated from Silsbee High School, earned a BBA in Marketing from the University of Texas, and completed his law degree at Texas Tech School of Law. Before founding Fisher Firm, he was a partner at Orgain Bell & Tucker, LLP, a prominent defense firm in Beaumont.

Jefferson lives in Silsbee with his wife, Sierra, and their two children, Jett and Ruby.
